Our labour of love, heart and soul creations. We love the rough finish, the imperfect beautiful edges and the inconsistent colour of our bags. No one bag looks exactly like the other. These bags burst with character and are meant for anyone who loves authentic leather bags.
The bags are made of 100% genuine vegetable tanned leather. All hand-crafted, hand-stitched and painted by us in Cape Town. We love the slow process of hand-crafting these bags with the high quality materials. We are passionate about slow- fashion and we use ethically sourced materials. We celebrate the gift of life everyday and we would like you to do the same with these African inspired luxuries.

Product: Work on our Chuma hand-stitched leather bags is done by hand, the stitching, painting/dying and cutting. We can not guarantee that each bag will be exactly the same as the picture. We take extra care to make sure the variations are are minimal as possible.
We take pride in our craftsmanship.
Lining: Our Chuma hand-stitched bags have NO lining or cushions.
